What is Shared Hosting...

Shared hosting consists of multiple websites on the same web server owned by the us.

This is easily the most popular (and cheapest) method of hosting your website. Keep in mind that if your site has high traffic, you might not want to go with shared hosting. In all honesty, sometimes, resources aren’t shared equally when it comes to this hosting method.

Remember that a server that provides resources for storing files in a shared environment, these resources, like hard drive space and RAM, can slow down if a site you’re sharing the server when it is receiving tons of visitors or has incorrect html coding.

This can lead to your website going down or experiencing super slow load times, therefore only go with shared hosting if your revenue doesn’t depend on your site’s performance.

What is Dedicated Hosting...

When you choose dedicated hosting, a full server belongs to you (whether it's rented or purchased). This type of hosting is the best choice for websites (examples: marketplace, eCommerce, social networks) that generate a lot of traffic and therefore require a lot of resources like RAM or Disk Access.

Although no server can absolutely guarantee 100 percent security, a dedicated server remains the best choice to adopt if the security of your website is your priority.

As is the case with Shared Hosting, with Dedicated Hosting you do not share bandwidth or resources with other websites, the dedicated servers are faster and you can host multiple websites, and the traffic is unlimited. Nevertheless, Dedicated Hosting accounts are a more expensive choice.

WordPress Optimized...

Whether you want to start a simple blog or develop an entire website on one of the most versatile platforms possible, WordPress hosting can meet your needs. To make creating your WordPress website easy, we recommended using SiteOrigin themes and plugins.

Site Transfers...

Moving to another website consists of transferring the website’s files and databases, configuring your site with the new host. Once this process is complete, the last step is to update your domain’s DNS to point towards our DNS servers. Once you sign up, we help you out with this process.

The cost for other website hosting companies can depend on the host you’re switching to, but it will probably be anywhere from $150-$400. RHOSTFC's does not charge for Site Transfers provided we have access to your old website hosting account.
